The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
ON INTER-CULTURALITY gathers international recognized Lullian researchers
that will present the ideas of Ramon Llull on some of the topics
listed below, starting with the philosophical principles that underlie
his philosophy, in particular its epistemological foundation. In
the Round Tables, academics and researchers from others fields of
study will discuss these ideas, already practicing in loco the intercultural
Lullian dialogue. Specialist on Islamic thought will present the
progress made in to reconcile the Islamic tradition in the East
with Western modernism. Those devoted to the Jewish tradition shall
contribute with their millennial experience to improve the concept
of nation. The lecturers from Turkey will make known their views
on the entry of their country in the EU.
This meeting counts with the
collaboration of the main lullistic centers and with the support
of the Government of Andorra and the Autonomous Community of the
Balearic Islands and the Autonomous Community (Generalitat) of Catalunya.
THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTER-CULTURALITY is an encounter
wishing to combine the academic knowledge with social and political
experience. Its organizers have a conviction that this will open
new ways to understand the complex issue of inter-cultural coexistence.
